The Process begins at the beginning, the place our busy lives don't always allow us to feel:  What do you want? What is your heart's desire? What do you long for? What dream have you put away in a safe place for “someday”? What would make you squeal with delight?

If you aren't sure, no worries - we have a few tricks up our sleeves to help you tune in to what it is that you most desire to create through Visioning! That's what we're here for! (*wink*)

So, just jot down a few notes about what you want, take some deep breaths, remember a time when you were really happy, feel really grateful, jot down a few more notes, think about something someone else has accomplished that you would love to experience, jot a few more notes. We'll lead you through some practices to refine and define until the essence of what you most wish to create reveals itself. It's in there. We promise.

Once you've identified your goal, your vision, your heart's desire, your Visioning and Vision Board work begins. It's really more like play. A cross between an art project and a heartfelt prayer. What may surprise you is the alchemy involved. It can be subtle or overt, but it's always there. We can't quantify it, but as the Vision Board process evolves we will be able to show an impressive heap of anecdotal evidence that will be quite persuasive, we predict.

As you collect images, perhaps you begin to just feel drawn inexplicably to an image that doesn't immediately look like what you're asking for. As you look at it, and feel it, you may find it has a message for you about a more subtle desire, a refinement of what you’re working on, or something new altogether. It may be in the colors, the words, the shapes, the people, or what it reminds you of, like a red wagon and a childhood memory, black stilettos and your best date night... and that's just while you’re creating the Vision Board.

When you arrange words, quotes, photos, and images on a poster board or other medium, the placement itself can be quite revelatory. Suddenly you realize an image of nature is the center of what you are longing for, or perhaps you are compelled to put a photo of yourself inside a sunflower! It could be that the professional success you are Visioning has a few unexpected components, or actually doesn't include a few you thought it would. A hot air balloon captures your imagination and the whole thing shifts. We always say, "You’ll know when it’s complete because you’ll feel it."  So, use tape and glue sparingly, 'cause you may find there are a few versions along the way. And, until you do feel it, it's easy to scoff at such a claim. We did!

With the Visioning process and Vision Board creation eventually complete, all you have to do is watch the elements on the board start showing up in your world. Now THAT's alchemy – let the celebration begin!
